In the summer of 2019, Dr. Ronald Miller, HCI Research Associate, completed the Oxford Impact Measurement Programme, which connects "academics, industry pioneers and experienced peers from across the globe" to "learn how to measure and optimise ... social and environmental impact."
Outcomes of the program include:
learning to critically assess the main impact methodologies and frameworks
looking at how to achieve management buy-in
examining the choices, trade-offs and opportunities posed by impact measurement
assessing a range of measurement tools and methods
learning how to optimise impact
As a newly minted Saïd Business School program alumni, Dr. Miller and his wife, Patricia, had the opportunity to return to the beautiful University of Oxford campus this past weekend to reconnect with colleagues, discuss ongoing projects, and build collaborations and networks.
The Oxford Impact Measurement Programme is run by Karim Harji, Programme Director and Associate Fellow at Saïd Business School; and Professor Alex Nicholls, Academic Director and Professor of Social Entrepreneurship at Saïd Business School.
